New Clients: Thank you for considering Wunderpetz! We love what we do, and we can’t wait to meet your furry (or feathered, or scaly) family members. But, before you sign up with us there are a few things we want you to know. We are a Multi-walker/ team based company, which means there will be a team of pet care professionals who visit your pets. We CANNOT assign just one or two team members to you specifically. We do our best to limit the people who care for your pets, but we have a large team. If your pet does not do well meeting new people we may not be the best fit for you. If that is the case, we get it and we want to be upfront about what we can and can’t do.
We are happy to get you set up for services as quickly as possible, but for the safety of your pets and our staff we do require an initial meeting with one of our staff. This first meeting is at no charge and we will schedule one of your regular pet care professionals. The steps are easy: 1) fill out our initial client set up form (click the New Client button above), we will get back to you within 24 hours. 2) fill out your client profile with all the care information needed 3) schedule your meeting 4) request your services and we will get you on the schedule. This process can take 2-3 days, so in most cases we can not cover next day services for new clients. Questions? Call or email us directly.
Daily Dog Walking provides your dog an opportunity to get exercise, personal attention, affection and play while you are at work or busy with other errands. Research shows that dogs who have enough exercise feel less stress, exhibit fewer signs of separation anxiety, and have a healthier social temperament. In simple terms: a walked dog is a happy dog. When you hire WunderPetz®, we’ll tailor a dog walking program that is customized to meet your dog’s specific exercise needs with one-on-one attention.
Available 7 days a week from 7am–10pm and can be scheduled on a daily, weekly, monthly, or as-needed basis. All rates include one or two dogs. There is an extra pet fee for additional dogs.
From short potty breaks to hour-long sessions.

With our Solo Adventures service, your pup(s) will benefit from a one-on-one dedicated hike and outdoor exploration with one of their favorite human friends. They’ll spend up to 90-minutes exploring new sights, smells and sounds on one of our local trails and get an extra dose of on-leash positive reinforcement training. This service is great for dogs who love hikes or pups who need more focused exercise than a walk in the neighborhood. The service includes pick-up/drop-off services so it’s even easier than daycare!
What Solo Adventures include:
90-minute on-leash solo adventure – $75.00 for one dog / $15.00 for the 2nd dog from the same household
New puppy? No pup-roblem! WunderPetz offers special services designed to support the process of potty training, early learning, and basic skill development for young dogs with the consistent schedule that proper housebreaking necessitates. As your puppy’s developmental needs evolve over the first nine months of their life, WunderPetz Dog Walkers will ensure that your new bundle of puppy love gets all the necessary potty training support and bladder relief he or she needs so that you don’t have to worry about rushing home on your lunch break to avoid an accident. We can also provide extra feedings, consistent engagement, and basic training reinforcement – and many cuddles and pets, of course! If you’re crate training, you probably know that crate trained puppies need a break every 3-4 hours for proper training and socialization – consistency is key for new pups and we are here to help!
Potty breaks can be brief walks, yard time, and/or play time, with or without feeding – whatever you prefer or is needed at your puppy’s stage of development, we are here for you!

Drop-in pet sitting visits are great for pets that need care while you’re out of town, but not necessarily an overnight snuggle buddy. (Many cat owners choose this option for their, ahem, independent furry roommates.) Each visit can be scheduled in 15 minute increments (as long as you’d like, and as often as you need), and include the following:
Services are booked a la carte. Feel free to mix times and lengths as it suits your household. (Do you prefer a longer walk at night with a quicker visit in the morning? We can do that!)
*Our minimum standard of care requires 2 visits for dogs of at least 30 minutes each or 1at least one 30 minute visit for cats and other small animals per 24 hours. We have learned through experience that daily visits are essential to ensure the safety and well being of you pets.

When we first hopped out of our kennel back in 2016, providing overnight, in-home, pet sitting set WunderPetz apart. WunderPetz offers professional Overnight Pet / House Sitting for those pets who prefer to have a frequent human presence (and a person to cuddle with them at night!). Let’s face it: pets are happiest when they’re in their own home. With our Overnight Pet Sitting Service, your pets can stay in their own environment even when you can’t be there. You can feel secure knowing that your home has the added measure of security that Overnight Pet Sitting provides; your home is taken care of, in addition to your pet. Consider this option the closest thing to being home yourself.
PLEASE NOTE– Overnights are are limited due to staff availability and preference goes to established clients. Check with staff on availability.
Overnight Options
Overnight services have limited availability and are not included in our availability guarantee. During Holidays and other peak demand periods we may not be able to customize your pet care.
Every single Overnight option includes, at a minimum, the following care:
Keep in mind that your pet sitter will have other pet sitting or dog walking rounds, but will be using your home as their “home base.” The time spent with your pets will vary based on your sitter’s schedule, however, it will always include at least the minimum time stated above and, likely, more. Remember, it’s the closest thing to being home yourself!
Overnight Bookings will be assessed a non-refundable $50 fee at the time of booking. This fee will apply towards your final invoice balance for completed overnights.
We’ll pick up your pet and drive them to wherever they need to go and back: a vet appointment, a grooming appointment, a playdate at the park…wherever it is they’re going, we’ll get them there and back home safely.
Pet taxi is not covered by our availability guarantee and we require as much advance notice as possible to accommodate scheduling, however, please do reach out in an emergency and we will do our best!

Visiting our beautiful city of Portland sometime soon?
Sometimes when you’re traveling for fun or business, the family pets get to come along, too! When you want to enjoy area attractions like shopping, gallery hopping, touring wine country, seeing live music or theater, or having a leisurely dinner at one of Portland’s fantastic restaurants, our pet sitters will provide one-on-one pet care in the comfort of your hotel room. Just like a regular Pet Sitting visit, your pet will enjoy walks and playtime, we’ll provide regular feedings and administer any necessary medication, and make sure your pets get plenty of love and attention so you can have a great time time out on the town.

Additional Pets: The reality is that providing care for more than 2 pets or walking more than 2 dogs at a time does require more time and more skill. Providing care for additional pets, who often have different needs, consistently requires extra time and attention to details by a skilled pet care professional. For this reason we add a fee for additional pets.
Access: For security, we work with clients to find the best on-site entry solution for their home. Here are a few examples:
If we need to schedule a key collection / drop-off AFTER the initial consultation or independent of any scheduled services, there is a $16.00 fee per drop-off / pick-up to compensate your sitter for their time.
Urgent Care: A $20.00 fee may be applied when pet sitting service is requested within 36 hours of start time for new clients to accommodate urgent meeting scheduling and expedited administrative processing time. A $5 fee will be added to any services scheduled after 7PM for next-day (or same-day) service.
Standard of Care: Please note our standard of care for dogs is a minimum of two 30 minute visits every 24 hours, not more than 12-13 hours apart.
For cats and other small animals we require at least one 30 minute visit every 24 hours.
Extended Service Area Fee: $5.00 charge will be added per visit in our extended service area. This charge helps cover the extra cost of travel time and expenses.
Client Meetings: Every client gets one complimentary meeting when they first sign up. Meetings with additional staff can be scheduled by request at $20 per staff person.
Weekend Fees: Visits booked on the weekends will be charged a $5 fee per visit.
Parking Fees: When our staff is required to pay for parking during the time of your service a parking surcharge will be added to your service rates to compensate for that expense. Currently rates can range from $.70 to $1.50 per 30 minutes depending on location. This information will be confirmed after your new client meeting and on boarding process has been completed. If there are free parking alternatives these fees can be waived.
Excessive Wait Times: If circumstances beyond WunderPetz®’s control necessitate that a team member wait more than 10 minutes’ time to access your building (no response at call box, concierge absence, etc.), your services may be rescheduled or additional charges may apply to compensate for our staff’s time and/or for return visits.

Holidays: $10.00 additional fee per household per visit.
Holidays Include: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Billing: Invoices are emailed through your online portal or app after services are completed at which time they are auto-deducted. In order to schedule services, you will need to have a viable credit card on file. A deposit may be required for some pet sitting services, especially during holidays and during times of peak demand.
Deposits & Other Fees: we reserve the right to require a deposit for any service during high volume times such as holidays, other peak booking periods and for special one time services such as hotel pet sits.

Home Security and House Sitting Visits: If you’re away and your pets are with you, we’ll stop by the house to make sure every thing is A-OK, water plants, bring in the mail, rotate your blinds and lights, and anything else that makes your household seem bustling and happily inhabited as usual.
Pet Goods Delivery: We’ll go to the pet store for you and bring the food/supplies on our next scheduled visit.
Attendant Service: We’ll wait for the cable person, piano tuner, movers, furniture delivery person, or plumber, so you don’t have to.
